Maybe not everywhere, but Monday afternoon in The Meadows and Flume it was on. This last storm came in on wind from the southwest, meaning northeast facing slopes around and just below treeline is where the “action” is. We were finding about two feet of lightly wind-packed snow that was supportive and dense enough to not worry about hitting much. 95% of the terrain around Berthoud still isn’t worth skiing, but if you have the urge there is certainly snow to be found.
